YA Crush Tourney: Round One!

Team Kilt.  Let's have a little heart to heart, okay?

We had sooooooo much fun last year and had such CRAZY incentives in the YA Crush Tournament hosted by the YA Sisterhood that we weren't sure exactly how we were going to top it this year.  I mean, COME ON!  We're in the freaking acknowledgements of SHINE, for crying out loud! How in the H-E-double hockey sticks do we top that, huh? (Have we mentioned how much we love Jeri Smith-Ready? For the record, we love her A LOT.)


So what do we do this year to top last year, friends? Well, we've decided it's not about topping last year.  It's about promoting Team Kilt the best we can and hanging out with some of our best friends. THAT's how we top last year.


So, here's the deal-e-o:


1.  First and foremost, Fictitious Delicious is donating $10 for every 100 votes Zachary Moore receives in Round 1 of the YA Crush Tournament to Tartan Army Children's Charity (TACC)

We've developed a HIGH TECH quasi-video game for EACH ROUND that Zach makes it through the YA Crush Tournament.  We're starting off with a little Loch Ness Monster ("Nessie") action.  Our dear Nessie is getting ready for a very important occasion! She's going on a date with a special gentleman and a new piece of her busy preparations will be revealed for each 100 votes Zach receives. If/when Zach wins you'll see just *who* this special gentleman is. So, come on, Team Kilt! Let's get our crush to the TOP! We're starting the round off with THIS fine photo.  Remember the #TeamKilt Scavenger Hunt last Saturday? Yeah? Well, guess what those photos will be used for?  Check back here often and you'll see your photos put to VERY good use for every 100 votes (or so as dictated by the tourney itself, lol :) Zach receives.

1:01AM ET: Nessie Part 3: Oh, you knew this one was coming. :)

2:26AM ET: Nessie puts on a little something to dazzle her upcoming date!

6:27AM ET: Nessie pierces her own ear when she decides she needs jewelry for...someone.

7:58AM ET: Nessie gets a temporary tattoo.  If all goes well , it may become permanent.

9:04AM ET: Nessie does some light reading to calm her nerves and to remind herself that she is succulent, wild woman.

10:00AM ET: Nessie put down the book and put on this splendid hat. 

10:50AM ET: Nessie isn't a fan of Flavor Flav's music, but she loves his sense of style. 

12:10PM ET: Nessie takes off the clock and opts for this beautiful choker that  in no way matches her outfit. (900 votes)

2:41PM ET: If Nessie's mystery date takes her to dinner, she already knows exZACHly what she wants. (1100 votes)

4:13PM ET: Nessie applies a little too much blush, mascara and eyeliner.  (1200 votes)

6:00ishPM ET: Nessie adds one last accessory while waiting for her mystery man to appear. (1300 votes)

7:32PM ET: Nessie is all ready for her date. She's going to read a wee bit to see if her date will show or stand her up. What will it be? Will Nessie go on a date, Team Kilt? (1400 votes)

9:54PM ET: A boat arrives to bring Nessie ashore! (1500 votes) 

11:15PM ET: Nessie begins her 45 min ride to shore. Will she be welcomed by her mystery date or will it be GAME OVER for Nessie? Your vote for Zach helps insure a happy ending for our girl!  (1543 votes)
